Moaan Exis beim Infest-Festival 2022

Moaan Exis ist ein französisches Post-Industrial-Musikprojekt von Mathieu Caudron aus Toulouse im Département Haute-Garonne.

Der französische Komponist Mathieu Caudron sammelte bereits Erfahrung als Komponist für sein Unternehmen Revulser Production für zeitgenössischen Tanz. Im Jahr 2015 startete Mathieu Caudron sein Post-Industrial-Musikprojekt Moaan Exis. Er mixt Industrial mit verschiedenen Musikrichtungen von Techno bis zur Filmmusik. Moaan Exis tritt live solo oder mit dem Schlagzeuger Xavier Guionie (Punish Yourself) auf.

Anfang 2016 veröffentlichte Moaan Exis die selbstbetitelte Debüt-EP beim US-amerikanischen Label Industrial Strength Records. Am 12. September 2016 folgte die EP "Invok" beim französischen Label audiotrauma. Am 4. Februar 2017 spielte Moaan Exis beim Audiotrauma Fest in Prag in Tschechien. Das Debütalbum "Transcendence" wurde am 30. Oktober 2017 ebenfalls über audiotrauma veröffentlicht. Im Januar 2018 hatte Moaan Exis zwei Auftritte in Italien. Am 9. Februar 2018 trat Moaan Exis erneut beim Audiotrauma Fest auf. Am 6. April 2018 trat Moaan Exis beim Elektroanschlag Festival in Altenburg auf. Es folgten die Alben "Postmodern Therapy" (2019) und "Necessary Violences" (2020). Im August 2022 spielte Moaan Exis beim Infest-Festival in England. 2025 erschien die EP "Unpredictable".
